FIVE TO FOLLOW
After what has been a very strange season for all concerned, one thing that has stayed the same has been the ‘Five to Follow’ competition. Well, we have the result and I am pleased to say that Pam du Croq is our outright winner. She chose well with Han Solo Berger, Capla Huntress, Goldie Hawk, Double or Bubble and Kingmania and her winning score of 66 points was significantly clear of the joint runners up who were Gordon Cherry( David Cherry’s father) and Seb Woods. It’s been a special year for Pam who rode her first winner for us on Hi Ho Silver and was then interviewed live on Attheraces afterwards. Well done Pam and thoroughly deserved.
Our joint runners up include Seb who also rode a winner this season for Rae Guest. Seb’s season was thwarted by the pandemic when it took a lifetime to get his licence re-registered which meant he was unable to go to the races! We all hope that next season is somewhat different to this year. However, it’s encouraging to see both of our stable apprentices having some success this year not only on the racetrack but also in the competition!
Pam will be receiving £300 for winning the competition whilst our runners up receive £50 each.
